Born in Montreux, Switzerland on August 31st 1977, he takes up the trombone at the age of 12. In 1998, he starts his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under Phil Abraham.

He attends a number of master classes given by Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava, Lee Konitz, Richie Beirach, Bobby Shew ... 
 
In 2002, during a stay in New-York, he got to study with renowned trombonists such as Steve Davis, Conrad Herwig and Slide Hampton...
 
He stayed in Belgium from 2003 to 2011 where he was an active member of the Belgian Jazz scene, as a sideman with "The Belgium Jazz Big Band", "The Jazz Sation Big Band"," The Bundle", "The KMG's", "The Marc Lelangue Blues Band"," Massive Central", etc ... and as a leader with his own 4tet and 5tet .
 
He's now living in Paris where he teaches at the Conservatory of Colombes and where he plays with "The Ron Meza's Big Band", "The Jeff Hoffman Blues Band", "The Swing Shop Live Band", 
"le Big Band du Xème"," Tribute to the JB's", etc ...and where he leads his new quintet .

During his career, he had the honnor to be heard with great musicians like Slide Hampton, James Moody, John Faddis, Wynton Marsalis, Robben Ford, Lee Muziker, Mory Kanté, Ron Meza, François Laudet, François Biensan, Baptiste Herbin, Bruno Rousselet,  Fabien Mary, Luigi Grasso, Bruno Castellucci, Philippe Aerts, Mimi Verderame and many others .
